That resolution 2026.06.10-07-SPCR-01 dated June 10, 2026, regarding Staff Report DSR-089-26 - Development Charge Reduction Program (DCRP), be hereby reconsidered.

1. That Staff Report DSR-089-26 regarding the Development Charge Reduction Program (DCRP) dated June 10, 2026 be received; and 2. That Council direct staff to prepare and submit an application to the DCRP by the June 19, 2026 application deadline; and 3. That Council authorize a reduction of development charges of up to 50% for the three-year period required under the DCRP, and authorize the CAO to determine the service categories where the reductions are most appropriate; and 4. That in the event the Town’s application to the DCRP is successful, that Council authorize the CAO to assess the proposed terms of participation in the program, and return to Council to determine whether to enter into a transfer payment agreement and to implement the development charge reduction proposed.
