Council Minutes January 10, 2024 1. That Staff Report DSR-002-24 regarding the 2024 Final Operating and Capital Budget dated January 10, 2024, be received; and 2. That the 2024 Operating Budget with a total tax levy requirement of $63,349,731 and an estimated blended impact of $237.62 or 4.95% increase to the average residential property tax bill be endorsed by Council; and 3. That Council increases the 2024 Capital Budget by $3,854,324 per Table 2; and 4. That the 2024 Capital Budget, with a revised amount of $61,248,889 be endorsed by Council; and 5. That Council resolves to shorten the 30-day amendment period to end January 10, 2024, for the 2024 Operating and Capital Budget; and 6. That the surplus capital project funds in the amount of $3,854,324 identified in Table 2 be returned to source.

That Council re-affirm its support for the Tollendale Village Expansion project, confirm its belief that a Ministerial Zoning Order for the project is warranted, and confirm the Town's intention to facilitate the development of the project; and 3. That the Town make a submission to the Environmental Registry of Ontario confirming Council's support by January 24, 2024, and the Town advise Tollendale Village of the same.
